
... in Japan, on a May 7th of 1946, a company called Sony emerged. One year after WWII ended.
There is no need for me to point out how powerful it has become.
Forty nine years after its foundation... the Playstation was introduced to America, changing gamers live's (like mine). And it's succesor, the PS2, became the best console since it's birth in the year 2000. Battling difficult oponents such as the Gamecube and Xbox, it became the winner of the "war of consoles". Which made me proud of owning a PSX, PS2 and PSP. It won thanks to capability, third party titles, and affordability.
Along came their successor with a marching band... but the only thing it armed itself with was capability (it's a state-of-the-art console), making it easy for the Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii to take the lead this time.
I wonder what kind of destiny awaits the PS3... but I am sure today, as a Playstation fan, that this dissappointment I feel, is real.
